Pricing FAQ
Clear before work begins.
Good engagements start with shared expectations about scope, readiness, responsibilities, and what success can—and cannot—mean.
Is the $85 hourly rate in U.S. dollars?
Yes. The published consulting rate is $85 USD per hour. Any applicable taxes or approved third-party expenses will be identified before work begins.
What can we use hourly consulting for?
Hourly support is a good fit for grant readiness, funding strategy, opportunity review, prospect research, program planning, outcome development, budget alignment, proposal review, funder reporting, and focused troubleshooting.
How are fixed-fee grant projects priced?
A fixed fee is quoted after reviewing the funder, application requirements, deadline, program readiness, budget complexity, supporting documents, submission process, and revision needs. The written scope identifies the deliverables, responsibilities, timeline, and review rounds before work begins.
Do you charge a commission or percentage of the grant award?
No. NoorStrategies does not accept commissions, finder’s fees, or compensation contingent on an award. Fees are based on professional time and agreed deliverables, not a percentage of charitable funds raised.
Can you guarantee that our application will be funded?
No consultant can guarantee a grant award. Funding decisions depend on eligibility, funder priorities, competition, available funds, program strength, organizational readiness, and factors outside the consultant’s control. We focus on fit, clarity, evidence, and a disciplined submission process.
What if our organization is not grant-ready yet?
We can begin hourly with a readiness review. That work may include organizing financial and governance documents, clarifying the program model, strengthening outcomes and metrics, developing a program budget, and identifying the most realistic funding pathway.
Does a grant project include funder research?
Only when it is included in the written scope. Research and proposal development are different workstreams: one identifies and qualifies opportunities, while the other develops a submission for a confirmed opportunity. They can be engaged separately or together.
Can you take on an urgent deadline?
Possibly, depending on availability and how complete the program, budget, data, and attachments already are. A short deadline may limit what can be responsibly developed, so early outreach is strongly recommended.
Do you offer ongoing grant portfolio support?
Yes. Ongoing support can include a grant calendar, opportunity review, proposal development, reporting coordination, portfolio tracking, and strategy meetings. The monthly scope is customized around the organization’s pipeline and internal capacity.
